No specific skills or prior learning is required. You will have a telephone conversation with the course manager to informally assess the appropriateness of the course for your learning needs
Learn British Sign Language to help you communicate better with friends, family or customer who have hearing difficulties. Learn how to introduce yourself and have an initial conversation with someone who uses BSL.
Classroom based with handouts and an individual learning plan
Everything needed to complete the course will be provided
You will complete an individual learning plan recording what you have learnt and how you will be able to put your new skills and knowledge to use.
Progression onto British Sign Language Level 1 at Weston College. Tutor also teaches level 1 and speaks to learners about this. Visitors include a representative with hearing dogs. National Careers Service.
